Go Tripod

LetCheck provide property inspection and inventory management services to property management organisations. Their hand-crafted reports are some of the best in the industry and their customer service is second-to-none: it’s a key tenet of LetCheck’s ethos. LetCheck have already begun their digital transformation, and many office processes are run from a cloud-based web app which had successfully shown a path forward to a fully digital future, and we were asked to assist.

The challenge

We were engaged to implement the next phase of LetCheck’s digital transformation: better tooling for staff, and better reporting for customers. LetCheck had already built online forms which their clerks could complete while on a job. Our task was to take data from these forms and create a new web app which allowed easy input of further information by LetCheck’s typists, and which could automatically generate PDF reports based on that data.

The solution

We needed to work within a strict budget and build software that gave us the flexibility to create a web app that looked and performed brilliantly. Our brief involved building a fluid interface for LetCheck’s typists to input data. We turned to React, in the form of Remix, with Tailwind CSS for styling. This gave us the ability to work quickly but with no limits on the features and functionality of the end result.

The result

The “My LetCheck” system has brought much-needed new tooling for LetCheck staff, streamlining their end-to-end business process and delivering value to customers. Industry leaders are now working with LetCheck to have them bring their innovative new systems to the market and improve efficiency in inventory management and property inspection.

Our involvement in this project included the following:

  • Bespoke Development
  • Digital Transformation
  • UX Design

We made use of these technologies along the way:

  • Remix
  • React
  • TailwindCSS
  • Cloudflare
  • PostgreSQL
